(websites on a certain topic that are linked together)
Check out the websites in the following webrings. But first please read the following disclaimer.
By providing these webring navigation links, I'm giving you access to other websites with information:
1. which doesn't necessarily square with a right interpretation of the Bible based on the five steps listed below;
2. which I don't necessarily agree with; and
3. which I can't guarantee the quality of.
If you're looking for the truths that tell the Bible's real story, that give the real answers about life and about God, I invite you to check out my Christian Links page.
I believe with my whole heart that the Biblical truths on the websites I've linked to on that page have been interpreted correctly, by carefully and prayerfully...
1. comparing ALL the texts that apply, not just ones that fit a personal, denominational or sectarian bias or belief, while ignoring the rest;
2. considering each word's context, in other words, the text around it and the time, language and culture it was written in, to learn the intended meaning of each word;
3. studying each sentence grammatically to get the correct meaning, paying special attention to the verbs as they deal with actions.
4. comparing the Old Testament and New Testament texts on a particular topic. (The New Testament must be interpreted in the light of the Old Testament and vice versa. The Old Testament is promise and the New Testament is fulfillment. Both complement each other.)
5. using the best translations and, if at all possible, carefully and prayerfully comparing them with the original text.
Because of that, I believe these truths tell the Bible's real story, and give the real answers about life and about God.
Truths such as: What really happens when we die, what will really happen in the last days before Jesus comes again, whether or not sinners will really burn in hell forever, and how you can really know if you'll make it to heaven.
Thank you for reading this disclaimer.
