Because there's more to life than one's self, status or material things.

Are popularity, accomplishment, recognition, respect, wealth, power, fame, even religion not cutting it? Have you tried all the world’s got to offer and in doing so come up empty and unsatisfied? Feel like there's nowhere to turn? How to make your life explode with relevance.
Was Jesus just a man who married Mary Magdalene? Has the church been hiding information from us for years about Jesus? Don't decide too quickly. Examine the evidence first.
Think conclusive cases can't be made for the Bible and Jesus' claim to be the God/Man Messiah? You'd be surprised. The overwhelming mountain of factual, historical evidence is too compelling, too convincing to be ignored.
Put God first in your life, because His judgement in heaven is now in session. But wait. Could it be that it's not what you think? That it's not a judgement of condemnation, but of vindication? Of Jesus' faithful followers, of God's ten commandments and of God Himself?
God is even now reviewing the lives of all those who at some point chose to accept His gift of salvation and follow Jesus, but He's not doing it for His own benefit. In this first phase of His 4-phase judgement, God is showing the universe whether or not Jesus' followers have been faithful to Him. He's also letting the universe see whether or not He's doing everything He can to rescue His people; if He can be trusted. skip
How to Live a Healthy, Meaningful and Happy Life
Want to help vindicate God, secure (not earn) an eternal, blissful life with Him and live a happy, healthy, meaningful life? Then:
learn more about God and His ways and fall more and more in love with Him
build a close, personal relationship with God and keep it meaningful and alive
worship Him who created us, the earth, the sea and the universe, but out of love instead of fear of punishment or hope of reward
get encouragement, moral support and hope and strengthen your sense of right and your abhorrence of wrong
keep His ten commandments, not just in deed, but also mentally and emotionally through faith in His promise to fill our hearts, minds and lives with His righteousness and unconditional love, not only for our friends, but also for our enemies (not for what they do, but for what they could become through Jesus' promise if they did the same nine things listed above)
experience the healing and true, lasting happiness God desperately wants you to have in this life and be ready for the next
Note: Make sure you do it, not to earn eternal life, but because you love God. Get your motive right, and you'll help vindicate God and His ten commandments, and He'll give you a happy, meaningful life now and throughout eternity.
Have you chosen to have nothing to do with God or Jesus? Have you wanted to let Jesus guide your life, but have put off making the commitment? Or have you made the commitment but have put off developing a relationship with Him, studying what the Bible says about Him, and telling others about Him?
If so, please, PLEASE seriously consider...
1) ...that even though it's true that if God doesn't exist, you have nothing to lose if you choose to reject Him, it's also true that if God does exist and Jesus was and is His Son and the only one through whom we can have eternal life, and you choose to believe otherwise, you stand to lose out on an eternity of true, lasting peace and happiness.
Why gamble that away? Why choose to believe that this is the only life we have, live fast and risk losing out on an eternity of true, lasting fun that never grows old? What's one short lifetime of Earth's thrills compared to an eternity of thrilling, heavenly experiences beyond anything we can imagine, spending time with family and friends we've lost, and with God, learning more and more about Him and His universe, and exploring every corner of it?
Why not get ready to receive such an infinite gift just in case 1)God does exist, 2)His Son is the only one through whom we can have eternal life, and 3)He'll be giving it to those who are ready for it? Not out of hope of reward because that's what He'll be giving us if we're ready, or out of fear of punishment if we're not, but out of love to God because His Son paid an infinite price, made an infinite sacrifice, so we could all live a life of blissful happiness with Him for the rest of eternity? Huh? Why not?
2) ...that no matter how invincible you might think you are, life can be very short, even for you. And this life is the only opportunity we have to secure eternal life.
But even if your life doesn't end prematurely...
3) ...that each time you refuse God's pardon, and each time you ignore or silence your conscience, you weaken your ability to hear it, and if you continue doing so, you'll one day become completely deaf to it, and thus cut yourself off from the only way God has to draw you to Him or warn you of dangers with eternal consequences. (That's why it's called the unpardonable sin.)
And you can't let that happen, because...
...people's continual rejection of God is causing His angels to withdraw more and more of their protection as we near Jesus' second coming. As a result, Satan and his fellow fallen angels are gaining more and more power to create chaos, deceive us, and lull us to spiritual sleep, keeping us so busy with other things that we rarely or never make time for God, and for purifying our character through hard work, determination and faith in the Holy Spirit to finish the job before it's too late. (1 Peter 5:8, Revelation 12:12)
5) ...that Jesus is coming soon to take those whose names are written in the Book of Life - His faithful followers - those who have given their hearts, minds and lives to Him, to heaven as He promised, which means His judgement and our probation will soon be coming to a close, ending all further opportunity to secure eternal life.
So don't put it off any longer and miss your opportunity. Start making God a part of your life today. Right now, while you still can. (Matthew 24:42, Luke 12:37)
In the third phase, God will give the redeemed the same opportunity, and they'll come to the same conclusion.
The Eradication / Cleansing and Renewal Phase - at Jesus' third coming with the redeemed, at the end of the 1,000 years in heaven. Revelation 20:3, 5, 9-15
In the fourth phase, God will give the lost the same opportunity, and they will also come to the same conclusion. Phillipians 2:10, 11
''The incredible fact is that God has put Himself on trial before the onlooking universe, and EVERYONE will have a chance to examine the evidence and judge Him. What an awesome and totally fair God!'' - my dad
Some Christian denominations these days are falling away from God and the Bible and some, also failing to deal with their emotional childhood and adult trauma and false assumptions about God and Christianity.
As a result they're becoming more and more unfaithful, hypocritical and uncaring, hurting themselves and others emotionally and spiritually in the process. Don't let yourself be one of them.
If you're a Christian, come out from them and be faithful to God, deal with your emotional trauma, if you have any, study the Bible carefully and prayerfully, join a church that's committed to actively and consistently following Jesus and the Bible, and tell others the good news about God's unconditional love and His free gift of forgiveness and lasting peace, meaning, satisfaction and happiness, in this life and the next, for the rest of eternity!
A time is coming soon when world powers will unite with unseen powers like never before in earth's history. Inform yourself about earth's last days so that you'll be ready for them and be able to remain faithful to God through them until Jesus comes.
''As we near the close of this world's history, the prophecies relating to the last days especially demand our study. The last book of the New Testament scriptures is full of truth that we need to understand.''
''Satan has blinded the minds of many, so that they have been glad of any excuse for not making the [books of Daniel and] Revelation their study. But Christ through His servant John has here declared what shall be in the last days, and He says, 'Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein[, because the time is near].' Rev. 1:3.'' - Christ's Object Lessons
''When the books of Daniel and Revelation are better understood, believers will have an entirely different religious experience. They will be given such glimpses of the open gates of heaven that heart and mind will be impressed with the character that all must develop in order to realize the blessedness which is to be the reward of the pure in heart[: eternal life with God].'' - Testimonies to Ministers and Gospel Workers
Carefully and prayerfully compare scripture with scripture, the Old Testament with the New, and especially Daniel with Revelation, to help you understand its truths and be ready for the momentous last days before Jesus' soon coming. skip
What does Bible Prophecy say about earth's last days?
''Don't be worried or upset,'' Jesus says. ''Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I wouldn't tell you this if it weren't true. And after I go and prepare a place for you, you can be sure that I'll come back and take you home with me, so you can be with me forever.''
Thomas said to Him, ''Lord, how can we know the way to get there?'' Jesus answered him, ''I'm the way you get there. I'm the truth about what God is like. And no one can secure an eternity of infinite bliss with My Father on his or her own; he or she has to come through Me.''
What does it mean to come through Jesus? I'll answer that in a bit, but first, what way has God provided for us to secure eternal life? Second, what can we look forward to if we come through Jesus? And third, how, through just continuing to do what we're doing, can we manage to lose out on eternal life?
