The Three Angels' Messages

These messages in the last book of the Bible are for us today. Do you know what they are? (Revelation 14: 6-13)


The First Angel's Message (Paraphrased)

Put God first in your life, because His judgement in heaven is now in session. But wait. Could it be that it's not what you think? That it's not a judgement of condemnation, but of vindication? Of Jesus' faithful followers, of God's ten commandments and of God Himself?

God is even now reviewing the lives of all those who at some point chose to accept His gift of salvation and follow Jesus, but He's not doing it for His own benefit. In this first phase of His 4-phase judgement, God is showing the universe whether or not Jesus' followers have been faithful to Him. He's also letting the universe see whether or not He's doing everything He can to rescue His people; if He can be trusted. skip

The Second Angel's Message (Paraphrased)

Some Christian denominations these days are falling away from God and the Bible and some, also failing to deal with their emotional childhood and adult trauma and false assumptions about God and Christianity.

As a result they're becoming more and more unfaithful, hypocritical and uncaring, hurting themselves and others emotionally and spiritually in the process. Don't let yourself be one of them.

If you're a Christian, come out from them and be faithful to God, deal with your emotional trauma, if you have any, study the Bible carefully and prayerfully, join a church that's committed to actively and consistently following Jesus and the Bible, and tell others the good news about God's unconditional love and His free gift of forgiveness and lasting peace, meaning, satisfaction and happiness, in this life and the next, for the rest of eternity!

The Third Angel's Message (Paraphrased)

A time is coming soon when world powers will unite with unseen powers like never before in earth's history. Inform yourself about earth's last days so that you'll be ready for them and be able to remain faithful to God through them until Jesus comes.

''As we near the close of this world's history, the prophecies relating to the last days especially demand our study. The last book of the New Testament scriptures is full of truth that we need to understand.''

''Satan has blinded the minds of many, so that they have been glad of any excuse for not making the [books of Daniel and] Revelation their study. But Christ through His servant John has here declared what shall be in the last days, and He says, 'Blessed is he that reads, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein[, because the time is near].' ''When the books of Daniel and Revelation are better understood, believers will have an entirely different religious experience. Carefully and prayerfully compare scripture with scripture, the Old Testament with the New, and especially Daniel with Revelation, to help you understand its truths and be ready for the momentous last days before Jesus' soon coming. skip

What does Bible Prophecy say about earth's last days?

''Don't be worried or upset,'' Jesus says. ''Believe in God and believe also in me. There are many rooms in my Father's house, and I am going to prepare a place for you. I wouldn't tell you this if it weren't true. And after I go and prepare a place for you, you can be sure that I'll come back and take you home with me, so you can be with me forever.''

Thomas said to Him, ''Lord, how can we know the way to get there?'' Jesus answered him, ''I'm the way you get there. I'm the truth about what God is like. And no one can secure an eternity of infinite bliss with My Father on his or her own; he or she has to come through Me.''

What does it mean to come through Jesus? I'll answer that in a bit, but first, what way has God provided for us to secure eternal life? Second, what can we look forward to if we come through Jesus? And third, how, through just continuing to do what we're doing, can we manage to lose out on eternal life?
